Specto signs an agreement with the Islamic Charity Center Society

ICDL is being introduced to schools run by the Islamic Charity Center Society (ICCS) in Jordan under a new agreement between ICCS and Specto, the ICDL National Operator in the country. Under the agreement, which was signed in the presence of the General Manager of the Education Sector of ICCS and principals from all schools in the society, students will have the option to gain ICDL certification in 2019, and certification will become mandatory for all grade 7 to 9 students in 2020.

Dar el Arqam School was the first school from ICCS that adopted the program in 2015, as part of the curriculum for grades 7, 8, and 9. Its successful implementation was the main drive to propel ICCS to sign the agreement.

During the event, accreditation certificates were given to six schools and one community college after meeting the accreditation requirements.

There are 135 institutes working under the umbrella of the ICCS, 52 of which can benefit from this agreement. Specto is looking forward to re-implement the decree that stated that ICDL is mandatory for the more than 5,000 employees of the Society.
