ICDL Germany, operator of the ICDL programme in Germany, took part in Digital Day 2020 with a new quiz, ‘Test your digital knowledge!’. Digital Day took place for the first time on 19 June and is sponsored by the’ Digital for All initiative. It aims to promote digital participation in Germany.
Under the hashtag #digitalmiteinander, the day of action is intended to connect people all over Germany and provide a platform to shed light on various aspects of digitalisation, to discuss opportunities and challenges and to initiate a broad social dialogue.
Among other events marking the day were a reception for winners of the ‘Prize for Digital Coexistence’, hosted by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Bellevue Castle, and panel sessions and events featuring government ministers and business leaders.
