Serbian court uses ECDL to increase staff efficiency

ECDL training and certification is being used to help employees to improve the quality and services of Pozega Basic Court in Serbia.

The project is being supported by JISA, the ECDL National Operator in Serbia. According to the President of the Court, Mr Petrovic, raising digital skills standards using ECDL will improve work, help to reduce the backlog of cases, and increase the efficiency of the judiciary.

This is the first time that a Serbian court has independently initiated and financed ECDL training for employees. In 2017, the Supreme Court of Cassation and state-level courts organised basic ECDL training and certification for 140 judges and court staff. The process of ECDL certification in Serbian courts is expected to continue through 2019.
