Candidates will soon be able to certify their skills in data analytics with a new ICDL module being launched this month. Data Analytics – Foundation provides an introduction to essential topics like preparing data sets and visualising data.
With the rise of big data, the ability to work with large sets of data is increasingly important in the workplace. Decisions based on data now impact activities in sales, customer service, production and logistics. The new module provides candidates with foundational knowledge and skills to help workers take advantage of data in their roles.
Subject-matter experts and professionals in the field helped develop the Data Analytics – Foundation module, which joins other modules including Data Protection, Digital Marketing, and IT Security, in the new suite of ICDL Professional modules.
